Spelling of Pittsburgh Pennsylvania for #1940Census #familysearch

Just doing some Pennsylvania 1940 Federal Census and had to lookup the spelling of Pittsburgh, enumerator spelled it Pittsburg which is wrong for the time period.

"Pittsburgh was officially named with its present spelling on April 22, 1794, by an act of the Pennsylvania Department, stating, "Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, in General Assembly met, and it is hereby enacted by the authority of the same, that the said town of Pittsburgh shall be, and the same is hereby, erected into a borough, which shall be called the borough of Pittsburgh for ever."  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pittsburgh

So anything after 1794 for indexing Pittsburgh should be spelled with a h on the end.  The lookup list for the 1940 Census is therefore wrong for spelling.  Really wish they'd do their history lessons sometimes before making up these lookup lists.  Or fix them.
